What kind of support are you looking for?

Small, steady tools for big feelings and new experiences.

Kind Compass Studio creates digital learning resources for parents, teachers, counsellors, and therapists supporting children through transitions, worries, social skills, sensory moments, grief, and emotional regulation.

Each resource is designed to feel predictable and usable right away: simple language, illustrated steps, concrete coping tips, and print-friendly pages.

Made first for one child, then shaped for many.

"I'm a mom designing tools for my own son."

Kind Compass Studio began at home. My young son needed social and emotional learning support before I fully had the words for it. Around eighteen months old, we noticed the first signs: delayed speech, and very few words to tell us what he needed.

At first, I thought speech might simply arrive in its own time. Later, he was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. As he grew, especially around age five, I started to understand that the biggest need was not language alone. He needed social emotional learning: help reading situations, understanding other people's intentions, and finding his way with friends at school.

He is naturally outgoing, but the hidden rules of friendship were hard for him to reach. I tried lessons and private programs, yet many of them missed the heart of what he needed.

In the end, the people who understood him most closely were us: his parents. We saw the small patterns, the quiet struggles, and the moments when a simple visual or story could make the day feel less overwhelming.

That is how this studio began. I make the gentle, practical resources I wish we had earlier, in the hope that what helped us through difficult steps can also help another child, family, classroom, or therapist.
